Senior Solutions Consultant (m/f/d) - Growth & Strategy at AMX Consulting - Personio

This is a senior role combining  consulting, technology and commercial responsibility . You’ll work directly with customers to understand their processes and challenges, then turn those requirements into practical Smartsheet solutions. You’ll build and present proof of concepts, scope consulting projects, discuss pricing and ultimately help win the work.
You’ll play an important role in AMX’s continued growth, with an initial focus on the DACH market. You’ll work with opportunities from Smartsheet, our partner network and existing customers, while also helping develop new relationships over time. The focus is on building trust, understanding where AMX can add value and turning strong customer relationships into sustainable growth.
There’s also real scope for this role to grow.  With proven success, you’ll take on broader responsibility for how AMX develops opportunities and goes to market , initially through greater ownership of customers, regions and commercial strategy. Over time, this can also develop into mentoring and guiding the team as it grows. What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage customer opportunities end-to-end , from discovery and requirements gathering through solution design, proof of concepts, scoping, pricing and commercial discussions, before handing over to the implementation team.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers,  identifying new use cases and opportunities to expand successful solutions  across other teams, departments and markets.
• Work closely with Smartsheet Account Executives and the wider Smartsheet team on  joint account planning, developing opportunities and identifying growth accounts  across DACH and AMX’s wider markets.
• Help develop new opportunities through  targeted account research, strategic outreach, events and collaboration with AMX’s marketing and partner network .
• Contribute to and  help shape AMX’s wider consulting and commercial approach , including how we develop opportunities, work with partners and take solutions to market.
• As you progress,  mentor other consultants  and take on increasing responsibility across AMX’s commercial activities.

• You have strong experience in  technology consulting, solutions consulting, SaaS or digital transformation .
• You’re  commercially minded  and comfortable taking a customer conversation from discovery through solution design, scoping, negotiation and close.
• You’re equally  technically hands-on  and comfortable actually building and demonstrating what you propose. Smartsheet experience is a big advantage, but strong Excel skills or experience configuring SaaS, workflow, low-code or business applications can also be a great fit.
• You’re good at asking the right questions and  turning complex or unclear business problems into structured solutions .
• You’re confident  presenting to senior stakeholders  and can explain technical solutions in terms of business value.
• You enjoy  building customer relationships and spotting new opportunities .
• You’re comfortable working without a perfect playbook. You like  bringing your own ideas, testing what works and helping shape the processes and approach that will make AMX successful as we grow .
• You’re interested in growing beyond an individual contributor role,  mentoring others and taking on broader responsibility over time .
• You speak  German at native/C2 level  and English fluently.
• You’re ideally  based in Germany and comfortable travelling for customers, partner meetings and events , typically up to five days per month.
• A relevant degree is welcome, but your experience and what you’ve actually delivered are much more important to us.

• You’ll  join an established and successful consultancy  that is still small enough for you to have a real influence on how things are done.
