Sales Development Representative (UK) at Artemis

The Role

As an SDR at Artemis, you'll be the first point of contact for prospects. You'll research target accounts, run outbound campaigns, qualify inbound leads, and set meetings for our Account Executives. You'll work with a small but sharp sales team to build pipeline and help close enterprise security deals.

This is a high-impact role—every meeting you set, every qualified lead, and every conversation directly feeds our growth.

Responsibilities

• Run targeted outbound prospecting campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone to security leaders (CISOs, VPs of Security, Security Engineers)

• Research prospect companies, identify decision-makers, and understand their security posture and needs

• Qualify inbound leads and route to Account Executives with clear context

• Have discovery conversations to understand prospect pain points and determine fit

• Set meetings with qualified prospects, brief AEs on context before calls

• Build and maintain accurate pipeline in Salesforce

• Hit monthly activity targets (outreach, conversations, qualified meetings)

• Work closely with Account Executives to understand what makes a qualified lead and refine your targeting

• Provide feedback to the team on market trends, common objections, and competitive intel

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in sales development, inside sales, or similar prospecting role (cybersecurity is a plus but not required)

• Comfortable making cold calls and sending cold emails without getting discouraged

• Research and research skills-you can dig into a company and find the right person to talk to

• Genuine curiosity about cybersecurity and how companies defend themselves (you'll learn fast)

• Strong communication skills

• Self-motivated and competitive-you own your pipeline and your numbers

• Comfortable with CRM (Salesforce) and sales tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)

• Organized and detail-oriented

Nice to Have

• Background in cybersecurity, security operations, or technical roles

• Experience prospecting to security buyers or IT decision-makers

• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, or other security tools

• Experience at an early-stage SaaS or security company
