The Problems You'll Solve

We believe the problems we solve today unlock the opportunities of tomorrow. As a Demand Generation Manager for the Private Equity Business Unit, you'll work to:

• Research, develop, and execute end-to-end campaigns to drive net-new firms to our private equity and alternative assets products
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and all parts of Marketing to test marketing strategies and drive quarterly business objectives through coordinated campaigns
• Own 6Sense ABM targeting, lifecycle streams, and SFDC campaign tracking for PE Investor prospects, using performance data to iterate and improve conversion at every stage
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, BD, and Product to identify the highest-propensity accounts, surface key insights, and scale what's working into repeatable growth plays
• Help identify, drive, and execute on strategic growth initiatives and tests as we experiment and learn which levers are key growth opportunities for Carta

The Team You'll Work With

You'll be joining the Demand Generation team within the Revenue Marketing Org, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Demand Generation.

The Demand Generation team is the tip of the spear for all growth and revenue driving aspects of Carta’s marketing organization. We own the full demand generation motion for all business units at Carta — from awareness campaigns and thought leadership to field events, outbound plays, and lifecycle nurtures. Our work is deeply cross-functional: we build campaigns in close partnership with Sales, PMM, Content, Events, and Finance, and we're accountable for a meaningful share of total pipeline every quarter. The team moves fast, experiments constantly, and brings both tactical execution and strategic thinking to every initiative.

About You

• Pipeline-obsessed. You've built and run multi-channel demand gen programs with a direct line to pipeline. You know how to connect campaign activity to opportunities, closed-won business, and marketing-sourced pipe, and you use that data to make better decisions.
• A campaign architect and operator in one. You're as comfortable writing an ABM strategy as you are managing the email build behind it, you bring both the strategic thinking and the hands-on execution to get programs into market.
• Cross-functional by default. You work naturally across Sales, Business Development, Operations and all aspects of the marketing org to align on messaging, coordinate timelines, and drive shared outcomes.
• Equal parts creative and analytical. You bring a marketer's instinct for what will resonate with a PE audience, a seller's understanding of what moves deals forward, and an operator's discipline for diving into the numbers to influence your marketing decisions.
• ABM-native. you understand how to build target account lists, structure intent-based plays, and sequence multi-channel campaigns. Experience with 6Sense is a strong plus.
• 6+ years of experience in demand gen recommended, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, or financial services. Experience with 6Sense, Marketo, and Salesforce is a strong plus.
• Bonus if you have financial services or industry experience. You understand how private capital markets operate and you build campaigns that account for that reality.

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:

• $154,700 - $182,000 in New York, NY
