Sales Talent Pool at Checkatrade

Fancy a career in sales at Checkatrade? Let's talk before the role even exists.

We're always looking for great salespeople, and we don't want to wait for a live vacancy to start the conversation. Checkatrade is on a mission to be the trusted foundation of every home, and our sales team is the engine behind it — turning conversations into confidence, and confidence into growth, for tradespeople and homeowners across the UK. Whether you're closing your first deal or leading a team that closes thousands, if you've got the drive and the people skills, we want you in our sights before we've even posted the ad.

Forget long lists, here's what you'll actually spend your time on:

• Real conversations, not scripts — you'll be trusted to read the room and sell the way that gets results, not the way that ticks a box.

• Targets that mean something — every deal you close helps a trade grow their business or a homeowner find someone they can trust.

• A pipeline you own — from first outreach to long-term account growth, you'll see the impact of your work end to end.

• A team that moves fast and backs each other — no faff, just people who look out for one another and want to see everyone succeed.

Wherever you are in your sales career, we want to hear from you if you bring:

• A track record of hitting (or exceeding) targets — whatever stage of your career that's been at.

• The knack for building relationships that last, from a cold first call to a long-term account.

• A consultative streak — you listen first, then sell the solution that actually fits.

• Steadiness and follow-through when a deal falls through — you learn from it and keep going.

• Bonus points for experience selling SaaS, marketplace, or subscription products, but it's not a dealbreaker.

Why join our sales talent community:

• You'll be first in line the moment a role at your level opens up — SDR through to sales leadership.

• Uncapped commission and a culture that genuinely celebrates the wins, together.

• A front-row seat as we build the platform that's changing how the UK finds a trade it can trust.

We believe great work deserves great rewards. Here's just a taste:

• Competitive salary + annual bonus or commission (role dependent)

• Employee Share Programme

• Health, well-being and learning support

• Gym membership, Smart Tech Scheme and Cycle Scheme

• Birthday/Special day leave

• Buy & sell holiday scheme

• 1 week's paid charity leave and much more!

If this sounds like your kind of sales team, register your interest and we'll come to you the moment there's a great fit.

Please note: this advert isn't attached to a live vacancy. Registering doesn't guarantee a response, but it means we'll have you front of mind the second the right sales role opens up.
