As one of the first Account Managers at DataGuard, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of customers with significant untapped growth potential and help build our Account Management function from the ground up. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• You take ownership of expansion revenue across a portfolio of existing customers that has been intentionally selected for its significant growth potential

• You help build DataGuard's Account Management function from the ground up, shaping processes, collaboration models and best practices along the way

• You create and execute strategic account plans that uncover new use cases, engage additional stakeholders and unlock growth opportunities across your accounts

• You turn customer needs, regulatory changes and compliance & security requirements into commercially meaningful conversations and expansion opportunities

• You work closely with Customer Success and Professional Services, leveraging their customer insights to identify and convert opportunities into revenue

• You build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and lead commercial discussions from discovery through to negotiation and close

• You drive long term account growth while helping more customers benefit from the full breadth of DataGuard's Security and Compliance solutions

• You collaborate closely with the wider Sales team and report directly to the Head of Sales, playing a key role in DataGuard's growth journey

THE QUALITIES YOU'LL NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AT DATAGUARD

• You have experience owning revenue targets across a portfolio of existing customers, named accounts or a book of business in a B2B SaaS Environment

• You know how to spot opportunity where others see a satisfied customer

• You consistently uncover and convert growth opportunities into revenue through upsell, cross sell and strategic account development

• You know how to navigate multiple stakeholders and build business cases that lead to commercial outcomes

• You thrive in environments where not everything is fully built yet and see ambiguity as an opportunity rather than a blocker

• You are fluent in German and English
