As a Sales Engineering Specialist focused on Security, you will work closely with our sales and field sales engineering teams to satisfy customers’ security needs. You will be responsible for providing timely responses to security questionnaires, engaging in customer-facing infosec calls, and collaborating with our internal SRE and Product teams focused on ensuring Fivetran’s platform security.</p> <p><br><br></p> <h2>Technologies You’ll Use</h2> <p><span style="color: #1f1f1f;">In this role, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of the following technologies:</span></p> <ul> <li style="color: #1f1f1f !important;"><span style="color: #1f1f1f;">Fivetran's data integration platform, deployment methods, and security features</span></li> <li style="color: #1f1f1f !important;"><span style="color: #1f1f1f;">Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform</span></li> <li style="color: #1f1f1f !important;"><span style="color: #1f1f1f;">Security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data loss prevention systems, and encryption</span></li> <li style="color: #1f1f1f !important;"><span style="color: #1f1f1f;">Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, and familiarity with hybrid and self-hosted deployment models</span></li> <li style="color: #1f1f1f !important;"><span style="color: #1f1f1f;">Security and Data Privacy Compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST and GDPR</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>What You’ll Do</h2> <ul> <li><span style="color: #1f1f1f;">Support our sales and field sales engineering teams with deep technical knowledge and understanding of Fivetran’s internal security operations, related platform features, and the security domain</span></li> <li style="color: #1f1f1f !important;"><span style="color: #1f1f1f;">Deliver timely and accurate responses to prospect and customer security questionnaires utilizing internal tooling</span></li> <li style="color: #1f1f1f !important;"><span style="color: #1f1f1f;">Work with Legal and AppSec to maintain internal libraries for use in security questionnaires</span></li> <li style="color: #1f1f1f !important;"><span style="color: #1f1f1f;">Lead documentation and internal enablement
