Tomorrow, consumers won't just buy on e-commerce websites. They will discover, compare and purchase directly inside conversational AI interfaces like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and a growing long tail of specialized AI assistants.

The role

As Customer Lead, you own our brand clients after they sign. You make sure every brand gets results from AI channels, you prove it with the numbers, and you grow the portfolio from there. You lead our Agentic Commerce Strategists and keep the most strategic accounts yourself. You report to our CEO, and the role is meant to grow into Chief Customer Officer.

It's the first lead role on the customer side, so you will build the function more than inherit it.

Own renewal and expansion across 150+ brands, with a revenue target
Spot early the accounts at risk and the ones that can do more
Give every client performance figures they trust, so results speak for themselves when renewal comes

Performance & measurement

Read the data yourself, explain it simply to marketing and e-commerce teams, and defend your recommendations in front of their leadership
Be the brand's voice with Product and Tech when something needs fixing

Team

Lead and coach the Agentic Commerce Strategists: who owns which account, what good looks like, how we prepare a client review…
Automate what can be automated: AI in reporting, analysis and client preparation

Example projects

You segment our 150+ brands, flag the accounts at risk and the upsell potential, and set the review cadence for each segment.
You make conversion measurement reliable across our performance clients, so every renewal starts from proven results.

Profile

Must-have

4 to 8 years of experience, in strategy consulting or in an advanced operations role at a startup
You have been in front of clients or executives yourself: you presented the numbers, held your ground and carried the recommendation
Strong with data: you build your own analyses and notice when a figure looks wrong
Commercial sense: you know how a renewal is won and you're comfortable owning a revenue target
Rigorous: every account has a plan, every commitment is tracked
AI-forward: you use AI tools every day and have already automated part of your work
Fluent French, professional English

A plus

You have managed or coached junior team members
Exposure to e-commerce, retail, adtech or digital marketing, and comfort with ad metrics (CTR, CPC, conversion)
Experience leading a customer or client team at a startup
Degree from a top business or engineering school
