Senior Account Manager (all genders) at Meteocontrol

Your mission:

You take strategic responsibility for a defined portfolio of mid-sized national and international B2B customers in the photovoltaic and BESS sectors, with a focus on revenue, margin, growth and long-term customer retention.
As a trusted point of contact, you continuously develop your customer relationships and anticipate future needs before they become concrete requirements.
You manage the entire sales process: from identifying opportunities and developing complex proposals to contract negotiations and closing.
You lead challenging negotiations at decision-maker level and work closely with your customers to develop sustainable solutions.
You coordinate internal partner and expert teams, prioritize resources and ensure that technical and commercial requirements are implemented efficiently.
You systematically develop growth and retention strategies for your customer portfolio and identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
You prepare well-founded sales forecasts and management reports and derive concrete actions for the further development of your portfolio.
You initiate and lead cross-functional projects to continuously improve and professionalize our customer management and processes.

Your profile:

You have a technical degree, ideally in engineering, or a comparable technical qualification, for example in energy or communications electronics.
You have several years of experience in strategic account management, B2B sales or managing complex customer relationships.
You have a proven track record of developing long-term customer relationships and growing existing accounts, ideally with responsibility for revenue, margins or growth targets.
You have experience negotiating complex proposals and contracts at decision-maker level and managing demanding sales processes.
Knowledge of photovoltaics, BESS and/or network technology is an advantage and will help you get up to speed quickly.
You are confident communicating in German and English and can convey both technical and commercial topics clearly to different stakeholders.
You work independently and in a solution-oriented way, with a strong hands-on mentality while maintaining high quality standards.
