Role Purpose

As Regional Operator Education Specialist you are responsible for the quality and delivery of onboarding for clinical operators across your region, ensuring training maintains a consistently high standard. You support and quality-assure the work carried out by Clinic Trainers, and act as the escalation point for clinical training matters, so that methods, delivery, and assessments stay aligned with global standards.

You also contribute to the maintenance of training programs and content, adapting them for local market needs based on central guidelines and frameworks. This is a competency-based training and safety function.

What You'll Deliver

Onboarding quality and escalation

• Ensure clinical operator onboarding is delivered to a high and consistent standard across your region, aligned with central guidelines and member safety requirements.

• Run the onboarding cycle: confirm incoming starters with Recruitment, allocate trainers, and monitor daily trainee progress, stepping in early where progression is slow.

• Hold the decision to pass, extend, or offboard a trainee in your region, alongside the Lead Operator team.

• Act as the regional escalation point for clinical training quality and safety matters, triaging every case on first pass to distinguish a genuine safety risk from a standard performance gap, and seeing it through to closure including structured improvement plans.

Support and coach Clinic Trainers

• Provide guidance, feedback, and support to Clinic Trainers on training methodology, delivery, and assessment.

• Hold trainers in your region to one national standard, working with Lead Operators so operational needs are met at the same time.

• Follow up on trainer performance and development.

• Support Clinic Trainers in completing Impact Reviews for existing clinical staff in line with Neko’s pillars.

Maintain and adapt training programs

• Maintain training programs and materials as requested, including Sana content, and adapt them to local market needs while staying aligned with global standards and following approval guidelines.

• Work from one shared source with your counterpart region rather than maintaining separate regional versions, and flag content gaps and inconsistencies centrally rather than resolving them locally in isolation.

• Deliver or coordinate key clinical skills training within your region, for example Gen II retrofit training, and provide training-plan input into clinic launches and retrofits.

Monitor training quality and drive improvement

• Observe training delivery, provide structured feedback, and follow up on what changes as a result.

• Run regional training audits and benchmarks against the national standard, identifying gaps and putting forward improvement proposals, including corrective action where an audit finding requires it.

• Oversee trainers’ records of staff competency sign-off. No operator works unsupervised on a new device until sign-off is confirmed.

• Feed hiring and training trends back to Recruitment so screening improves from what is seen downstream in training.

Partner across the business

• Work closely with clinic leadership and relevant support functions so training meets operational needs as well as the clinical standard, and act as a regional training voice with Recruitment, clinic leads, and cluster management, syncing regularly to stay aligned nationally.

• Work closely with Clinical Development, participating in product launch handovers and acting as the educational link for your region, including developing training materials for new devices and SOPs when requested and supporting rollout to trainers and operators on the ground.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Healthcare professional with at least two years of clinical experience.

• Significant post-registration experience in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting.

• Demonstrated clinical leadership, formal or informal.

• Existing trainer or competency sign-off experience within a Neko clinic, or equivalent clinical procedure competency such as phlebotomy or ECG.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing clinical teams or trainers, including performance management across multiple sites.

• Track record in competency-based training and assessment.

• Experience developing or scaling training frameworks to support clinic expansion.

• Cross-functional collaboration with Recruitment, Operations, or Education teams.

• A postgraduate certification in a specialist clinical area or in leadership.

Working conditions

• This role carries protected training capacity on a fixed weekly structure, with a minimum of one scanning day so you remain clinically current and credible with the operators you train.

• A minimum trial or shadow period applies before full sign-off authority is confirmed, given the clinical safety responsibilities of the role.

• This is a hands-on regional role with regular travel across your clinic cluster.
