<h4>ABOUT THE ROLE</h4> <p>The Director of Supply Chain Strategy &amp; Excellence is a high-impact leadership role responsible for architecting and executing a comprehensive end-to-end supply chain strategy. This position focuses on driving operational excellence, long-term scalability, and rigorous cost management across the enterprise. The successful candidate will use advanced SQL and Python to build rigorous data models, surface operational insights to craft a strategic vision, identify opportunities to deploy advanced AI-driven technologies to automate decision-making and improve predictive accuracy, and optimize the global network to enhance service levels and deliver significant bottom-line value.</p> <h4>YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON</h4> <ul> <li>Develop and implement a multi-year supply chain roadmap aligned with corporate growth and fiscal objectives</li> <li>Network Design: Lead the design and optimization of the global distribution and logistics network to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction</li> <li>Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on supply chain trends, risks, and investment opportunities</li> <li>Drive cross-functional alignment between Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to ensure integrated business planning</li> <li>Targeted Savings: Establish and manage robust cost-reduction programs targeting delivery, service &amp; repair, refurbishment, and transportation</li> <li>Cost of Quality (CoQ): Drive "Quality-by-Design" initiatives, incorporating member and engineering feedback to optimize product reliability and reduce total CoQ</li> <li>Oversee the supply chain budget, ensuring financial targets are met through rigorous expense management and productivity gains</li> <li>Implement total landed cost models to drive data-driven decision-making in sourcing and logistics</li> <li>Partner with analytics engineering to define and build dbt data models that translate exploratory supply chain analyses into reliable, reusable data infrastructure</li> <li>AI Deployment: Incorporate AI tools into analytical workflows and build AI-assisted data capabilities that empower non-technical supply chain partners to make faster, better decisions</li> <li>Member First Analytics: Use data to develop feedback loops to drive continuous improvement of the member experience</li> <li>Develop and monitor KPIs focused on cost-to-serve, perfect order fulfillment, and working capital efficiency</li> <li>Champion a culture of continuous improvement utilizing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste</li> <li>Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, focusing on increasing internal talent density</li> <li>Promote a data-driven mindset and technical proficiency across the department</li> <li>Define organizational structures and roles that support evolving business needs and scalability</li> <li>Foster a culture of high performance with a focus on retention of top talent</li> </ul> <h4>YOU BRING TO PELOTON</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree: Required in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field</li> <li>Master’s Degree/MBA: Highly preferred</li> <li>8+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, with a proven track record of delivering cost-savings and strategic transformations</li> <li>Advanced SQL and Python proficiency with hands-on experience building models and conducting deep-dive analyses&nbsp;</li> <li>Exceptional ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable strategic insights</li> <li>Ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail in execution</li> <li>Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization</li> <li>Experience with dbt or modern analytics engineering workflows, including defining data models and working with engineering teams to productionize analytical work — strongly preferred</li> <li>Experience incorporating AI tools into personal data workflows and helping non-technical teams adopt AI-assisted approaches</li> <li>Demonstrated success in leading large-scale organizational change initiatives</li> </ul> <p>Success Metrics</p> <ul> <li>Total Landed Cost Reduction - Target Goal: Annual target of 5-8% reduction across primary categories</li> <li>Inventory Turnover - Target Goal: Improvement of 10% year-over-year</li> <li>On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) - Target Goal: Achieve and maintain &gt;98%</li> <li>Forecast Accu
