Pinterest’s Sales Insights team transforms first-party platform data, consumer research and market intelligence into compelling stories that help advertisers understand their audiences and grow their businesses.

As an Insights Solutions Partner based in Mexico City, you will support Pinterest’s advertising business in Mexico by developing insight-led narratives that address important advertiser and sales priorities. You will work at the intersection of analytics, research, strategy and commercial partnership, using data to identify opportunities and turn them into clear, actionable recommendations.

You will independently deliver insight projects using first-party behavioural data, third-party research and relevant market context. You will partner closely with Sales and other cross-functional teams, present your work to advertisers and agencies, and contribute to improving the tools, frameworks and AI-enabled workflows used by the wider Insights team.

What you’ll do:

Analyze Pinterest first-party platform data using SQL to uncover audience, category, cultural and commercial insights relevant to advertisers in Mexico.
Translate complex datasets and research into persuasive, actionable narratives that support advertiser objectives and Pinterest’s revenue priorities.
Partner with Sales to understand advertiser needs, identify the underlying business question and prioritise high-value insight opportunities.
Use third-party syndicated research, market intelligence and other credible sources to strengthen first-party analysis and provide wider context.
Present insights and recommendations to advertisers and agencies through meetings, workshops, presentations and other strategic engagements.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Creative, Measurement and regional or global Insights colleagues to deliver integrated advertiser solutions.
Independently manage well-scoped, moderately complex projects, including stakeholder alignment, analytical planning, execution and quality assurance.
Contribute to reusable analytical frameworks, sales narratives, templates and processes that extend the impact of insights beyond individual requests.
Use Pinterest’s evolving AI toolkit to improve the speed, scale and quality of research, analysis, coding, narrative development and reporting.
Critically evaluate AI-assisted work through source-checking, testing and data validation, maintaining ownership of all final outputs and recommendations.
Monitor the adoption and commercial influence of insights, gathering feedback and applying learning to future work.

What we’re looking for:

4+ years of relevant experience in insights, analytics, market research, consumer research, marketing strategy or a related analytical discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of regular experience querying and manipulating data using SQL.
Demonstrated experience using data to solve commercial or marketing challenges and influence stakeholder decisions.
Strong insight storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex evidence into clear recommendations for different professional audiences.
Experience building high-quality presentations in Google Slides, PowerPoint or an equivalent tool.
Confidence presenting analytical work to clients, agencies or senior internal stakeholders.
Ability to clarify ambiguous requests, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work independently.
Working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, audience research, market intelligence or syndicated data.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with commercial and cross-functional partners.
Professional fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English.
Experience using AI to accelerate analytical or research workflows, together with a clear approach to verifying accuracy, sources and quality.
Experience in digital advertising, social platforms, media agencies, research agencies or consumer-facing technology is beneficial.
Experience with advertisers or sectors relevant to the Mexican market is beneficial.
Experience commissioning or managing primary research is beneficial.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
An understanding of and enthusiasm for Pinterest’s mission, product and value to advertisers.

In-Office Requirement Statement

We let the nature of the work guide how and where teams collaborate. We are not always working from an office, but we continue to gather for important moments of collaboration and connection.
This role will need to work from the office for in-person collaboration approximately one to two times per week and must therefore be within a commutable distance of Pinterest’s Mexico City office.
