WHAT THIS ROLE OFFERS
As VP Sales, you own the entire sales function including upselling. You report to the CEO, sit on the leadership team alongside our co-founders and functional leads, and own the sales number at board level together with the CEO. You lead a total sales head count of 13-15 people (BDRs, AEs, Team Lead / Head of):
Your mandate is execution excellence and taking the organization to its next level. You lead across two go-to-market priorities:
Prio 1, your primary lever: high-touch Enterprise sales to industrial companies
Prio 2: a lean, low-touch motion for smaller accounts that you lead commercially
The role is office-based in Munich (min. 3, ideally 4 days a week).
THE IMPACT YOU'LL HAVE
Enterprise sales (Prio 1): Own new + expansion ARR from Enterprise accounts. Drive complex, multi-stakeholder deals with maintenance, operations, and IT buyers, and bring rigor to qualification and forecasting (MEDDPICC).
Team leadership & org design: Build, coach and steer a high-performing sales team (Team Lead BDR and AEs directly), make key hiring and succession decisions, and own portfolio and investment decisions within Sales: org design, budget, and priorities.
Pipeline generation: Own pipeline coverage end to end. Steer the BDR team across outbound, inbound, events, and partners, and continuously sharpen ICP targeting, messaging, and playbooks.
Sales strategy & market focus: Fully own the long-term sales strategy on a 2+ year horizon: identify and double down on the right markets and verticals, drive ICP shifts, and decide where remberg plays and wins, consistently aligned with remberg's overall direction.
Sparring partner to the C-level: Act as a sparring partner to the CEO and co-founders in defining remberg's path, bringing in deep domain expertise and market perspective. Collaborate closely with our CPO to maximize product-market fit by translating market, competitor, and win/loss signals into product priorities.
Forecast & board reporting: Own the forecast and sales KPIs, translate signals into action, and report revenue performance together with the CEO at board level.
Low-touch GTM: Lead the lean, low-touch motion for smaller accounts commercially, including expansion in tight alignment with Customer Success. Use automation and AI where they create leverage.
SAP ecosystem, partnerships & solution engineering: Build and grow remberg's presence in and around the SAP ecosystem: partners, system integrators, and consultancies. Position integrations as a differentiator in Enterprise deals and build up solution engineering (integration scoping, technical validation, proof-of-concepts) in close partnership with Product and Engineering.
HOW YOU'LL GROW WITH US
Must-haves:
Sales leadership with an Enterprise track record: 5+ years leading AE and/or BDR teams in B2B SaaS, with a proven Enterprise new-logo track record, strong coaching skills, and a passion for people development. Comfortable owning the number and driving results under pressure.
Outbound-led pipeline building: You have built an outbound-led pipeline motion yourself and demonstrably live MEDDPICC or a comparable qualification framework, from first touch to procurement and legal.
Stage fit: You have scaled a sales organization in the 5-20 M€ ARR range and know what to build, and what breaks, at this stage.
Language & presence: Business-fluent German and proficient English
Nice-to-haves:
Industrial world: You have spent meaningful time in or close to the industrial sector (manufacturing, plant operations, facilities, or a comparable environment). You are energized by being on-site with enterprise customers, travel willingly, and build trust face-to-face on the shop floor. Direct exposure to maintenance, asset management, or service operations is a strong plus.
Ecosystem know-how: You know the ecosystem: partners, system integrators, and how ERP-connected buying decisions are made. This can also be built at remberg.
Analytical & data-driven: You think in KPIs, make data-based decisions, and continuously optimize. You can build a dashboard, read it, and act on it.
AI-native operator: Hands-on with AI tooling for customer-facing and internal workflows; you actively look for places where automation and AI can replace repetitive work and create new possibilities.
Product-led & low-touch mindset: You think first about leverage: automation, in-product flows, and self-serve content. The mindset is enough, you do not need to have built PLG yourself; our Head of Growth drives the product side.
