Partner Manager – Public Sector DACH (m/f/d) at SoSafe

SoSafe has the ambition to become the leading human risk management provider in Europe. Our award-winning awareness platform triggers behavioural change by providing effective and engaging training and simulations on cybersecurity and data protection. Cybercrime is costing the world >$10 trillion annually and growing by 15% p.a. - we invite you to be part of the solution!

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Partner Manager to help drive growth across the DACH public sector landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring and developing new partnerships with resellers, system integrators, and consultancies serving federal, state, and municipal government, education, and other public institutions — while ensuring existing partnerships are nurtured and maintained. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in partner management or business development within the public sector, and a strong understanding of DACH public procurement dynamics.

How you will contribute to our success:

• Identify and prospect new partnerships with resellers, system integrators, and consultancies with established access to public sector accounts across DACH.

• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in potential partner organizations and maintain ongoing communication to ensure successful partnerships.

• Navigate and support partners through public procurement processes (tenders, framework agreements, RFPs) to maximize joint pipeline conversion.

• Continuously monitor and analyze partnership performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to maximize results.

• Negotiate and close partnership agreements with potential partners, ensuring terms are favorable to both parties and compliant with public sector procurement requirements.

• Manage existing partnerships, ensuring ongoing communication and effective collaboration to drive growth and value for both parties.

• Stay up to date with public sector industry trends, regulatory developments (e.g., cybersecurity compliance mandates, NIS2), competitive landscapes, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.

What sets you apart:

• At least 3 years of experience in partner management or business development, with a focus on the DACH public sector (federal, state, municipal, or education).

• Proven track record of acquiring and developing successful partnerships with public-sector-facing resellers, SIs, or consultancies.

• Familiarity with public procurement processes and frameworks (tenders, RFPs, framework agreements) in Germany, Austria, and/or Switzerland.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including within long, multi-stakeholder public sector sales cycles.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Fluent in German and English, or with additional languages such as Spanish, French and Dutch being a plus.

• Working knowledge of AI tools, capabilities, and limitations, with the ability to translate them into practical partner and customer value.

We look for individuals who embody these core attributes:

• Growth Mindset: Takes full ownership of setbacks and proactively seeks feedback as the fastest route to improvement.

• Curiosity: Possesses an intrinsic drive to understand the business beyond their own role and challenges the status quo with evidence.

• Operational Impact: Focuses on measurable business outcomes by ruthlessly prioritizing results and cutting through complexity.

• Grit: Persists through genuine obstacles and ambitious goals, finding a way forward when there isn't an obvious path.

• Clear Communicator: Delivers punchy, professional, and structured communication that always leads with the "why."

• Respectful of Others: Demonstrates professional maturity by assuming positive intent and prioritizing constructive honesty over artificial harmony.

• Technological Edge: Thinks in first principles to automate work and translate complex technology into scalable business solutions.

What we offer*

• Work/Life balance: Flexible hours, 33 vacation days, and parental leave support

• Wellbeing and financial support: Access to Open Up, Corporate Discounts, Wellbeing & Fitness Benefits

• Connection & community: Virtual events, collaborative team activities, and opportunities for local meet-ups

• And the list goes on: Tech equipment, referral bonuses, an individual development budget, dog-friendly HQ

*Perks and benefits listed above are for full-time employees and may vary slightly by office location. These are just a sample — you'll learn more during the interview process.
