Head of Growth (f/m/d) at Tangany GmbH

Tangany, based in Munich, is a highly innovative technology company with a market-leading B2B solution for the custody of digital assets on the blockchain (e.g. cryptocurrencies & tokenized assets). Our solution is already used by more than 50 institutional customers. Tangany is regulated by the German federal financial supervisory authority, BaFin.

Using our modern API, we enable our customers to easily and securely integrate blockchain functionalities into their systems. This white-label solution reduces development costs and time, enabling fast market access and ease of use for end users. Regulatory requirements can be covered for appropriate assets via Tangany's crypto custody license if required. For our continued growth, we are looking for a Head of Growth (f/m/d) to join our team.

Your role

In this role, you own business development and lead our Sales and Marketing teams, reporting directly to our Co-CEO. You work closely with Product, Legal, and Compliance. The role is deliberately broad: you are here to build what does not exist yet, not to administer what does.

Tasks

• Lead Sales & Key Account Management directly, plus Marketing and Business Development: set shared targets, define the handover from demand generation to pipeline, and make performance measurable.

• Build the internal processes a growing go-to-market organisation needs, including planning, forecasting, target systems, and reporting that gives management a reliable view of pipeline, conversion, and marketing contribution.

• Define product and pricing standards, such as price models and discount guidelines, together with our Head of Products, and ensure they are applied consistently.

• Feed structured market signals (recurring customer needs, lost-deal reasons, unserved demand) into product innovation, prioritized with Product and the C-Level.

• Build out stablecoins and institutional tokenization custody solutions and open up new customer segments, from market validation to a repeatable route to market.

• Own business development: partnerships, channels, strategic accounts, and complex B2B deals with long cycles and regulated counterparties.

• Represent Tangany at management level towards clients, partners, and the ecosystem, including at industry events.

• Act as our thought leader on a focus topic, with Marketing supporting your visibility.

Requirements

• 8+ years in B2B growth, business development, or commercial roles, ideally in fintech, banking infrastructure, SaaS, or digital assets.

• 5+ years leading Sales and/or Marketing teams.

• Track record of selling complex products in long, multi-stakeholder decision processes.

• Experience setting B2B pricing and representing a company externally, on stage and in the media.

• Experience in regulated environments; you see compliance as a sales argument, not an obstacle.

• Analytical mindset that also works without clean data.

• Enthusiasm for blockchain; knowledge of stablecoins or tokenized assets is a plus.

• A network in banking, asset management, or crypto and experience with partner or channel models are a plus.

• Fluent in English and German (both >C1).
