Head of Marketing (all genders) at væridion

Your Mission:

As Head of Marketing (all genders), you will join the VÆRIDION Commercial team and take our Marketing function to the next level. We are developing a battery-electric aircraft for regional flights, a zero-emission, quieter alternative on the short routes where turboprops fly today. To bring this unique platform to the market, our existing and prospective airlines, lessors, investors and partners need to appreciate that electric regional aviation is the credible solution. Growing our brand awareness and our ecosystem is one of our core company objectives, and you will play a key role in it. As part of the leadership team, you will collaborate closely with departments across the organization, from R&D and aircraft engineering to testing and operations. You will play a pivotal role in translating complex technical developments and company milestones into compelling narratives and high-impact communication campaigns that strengthen our brand, engage key stakeholders and customers, bringing our vision to life.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Build, lead and develop a high-performing Marketing team within the Commercial function.

• Lead media relations, build strong relationships with journalists and industry publications, and develop compelling press releases that communicate our key milestones and achievements.

• Develop and own the global events strategy. This covers planning and execution of industry events and trade shows, as well as in-house events that strengthen our brand.

• Shape and execute marketing strategies aligned with our business objectives, commercial priorities and aircraft development roadmap.

• Strengthen our brand positioning and ensure a consistent presence across all communication channels and touchpoints.

• Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, social media and content marketing. Monitor campaign performance and optimise it.

• Work hand in hand with the Commercial, Engineering and other teams to turn complex technical topics into engaging and accessible content,

• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.

Your Profile:

• Several years of marketing experience, including leadership experience building and managing a team. Experience in B2B, aviation, aerospace, defence or deep tech is a strong plus.

• Proven track record in planning and running events, trade shows and brand activations.

• Hands-on experience across digital marketing: SEO/SEM, email, social media and content marketing, plus data-driven campaign optimisation.

• Strong skills in brand management, storytelling and making complex technical topics understandable.

• Experience in public relations, working with journalists and industry media, and driving impactful communications campaigns.

• A collaborative, hands-on pragmatic working style, and comfort working across Sales, Product and Engineering in a fast-growing, high energy, startup environment.

• Fluent English is essential. German is a Plus.
