Senior Lifecycle & Retention Manager at Cosuno

Your Mission

Cosuno is a B2B marketplace connecting general contractors and subcontractors across the construction industry. As our Senior Lifecycle & Retention Manager, you'll build the growth engine that turns new users into active, paying and retained customers — and move us toward an AI-native, signal-driven system that decides what happens next on its own. You'll be one of the first to join the marketing lead in a lean marketing team: you'll shape how it operates as it scales, not just execute inside a fixed setup.

What you’ll do

• You build the CRM programmes and lifecycle journeys that drive adoption and conversion — from first tender discovery to paid conversion for subcontractors, and early product adoption to repeat tendering for construction companies.

• Together with the Marketing Lead, you build an agentic, signal-driven system that turns behavioural data, call insights and enrichment signals into personalised next-best-action triggers — replacing static journeys with ones that decide what happens next on their own.

• You experiment and measure with A/B tests and holdout groups, so decisions are based on incremental impact, not campaign output.

• You scale what works into a repeatable system, not one-off campaigns.

• You connect journeys with Sales and Customer Success, handing off to a human touch when that's more effective than automation.

• You use CRM as a lever for marketplace liquidity — getting the right subcontractors onto the right tenders — and orchestrate email, in-app, transactional comms and marketplace recommendations as one journey with Product.

• You support growth programmes such as referrals — from design through CRM execution.

What You Bring

• You've owned CRM, lifecycle, retention or growth programmes and can show the commercial impact they created — ideally in B2B SaaS or a two-sided business model.

• You've directly influenced conversion, activation or retention metrics and are confident with data and experimentation.

• You're genuinely AI-native: proven experience building AI-driven automation or agentic CRM systems, not just using AI to write copy faster.

• You write and run SQL queries independently.

• You go from data → insight → idea → implementation → result without needing someone else to define every step, and you like solving ambiguous problems and building from scratch.

• You work effectively across Product, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering, and care more about measurable business impact than campaign output.

• A plus: hands-on experience with ActiveCampaign and Salesforce (or comparable CRM tools).

• Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
