Senior Product Manager - Business Intelligence at Datadog

Datadog helps technical teams understand their systems. Increasingly, those teams also need to connect operational data to business context, like customers, transactions, revenue, etc.

We are building business intelligence capabilities that let customers bring operational and business data together, explore it with SQL or a spreadsheet, turn repeated analysis into trusted datasets and metrics, and share the result through visualizations, dashboards, and notebooks.

This role owns the product strategy and execution for that initiative. You will lead Datadog SQL (DDSQL) and Sheets while shaping new bets in the broader system around them: how customers bring in data, model and reuse it, discover trusted analysis, and move from a question to an answer without leaving Datadog.

Success is not about recreating a traditional BI suite feature by feature. You will identify where Datadog has a distinct advantage, choose the right initial users and use cases, and work across product, design, and engineering to create a coherent experience from data access through analysis and sharing.

What you'll do:

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for business intelligence across Datadog, including the initial customer wedge and sequence of investments
• Lead SQL and Sheets end to end, evolving them from individual tools into core ways customers analyze Datadog and third-party data
• Define how customers bring business data into Datadog and use it alongside operational data, including warehouse connections, joins, access controls, and performance
• Make analysis reusable and trustworthy through shared datasets, metrics, business definitions, and published work that teams can build on instead of recreating
• Create a coherent path from question to query to reusable analysis across Graphing, Dashboards, Notebooks, and adjacent Datadog products
• Partner closely with design to establish a high bar for information architecture, interaction design, and visual polish across complex analytical workflows
• Use customer research, product analytics, and competitive insight to identify what prevents teams from doing work in Datadog today, then improve discovery, onboarding, and repeat use
• Shape the positioning, packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy, and identify the next capabilities and user groups Datadog should pursue

Who you are:

• You have built customer-facing business intelligence, analytics, notebook, spreadsheet, visualization, or other data-intensive products
• You have strong UI and UX judgment across information architecture, interaction patterns, progressive disclosure, and the edge cases that make complex tools feel simple
• You are hands-on with data analysis tools and use them to answer your own product questions
• You are game to lead ambiguous, zero-to-one work
• You can work with engineers on query engines, schemas, joins, storage, performance, and access controls
• You communicate clearly and build alignment across engineering, design, go-to-market teams, and executives
• 7+ years of product management experience
