(Senior) Marketing Analyst (m/f/d) - Hamburg at freenow

As a (Senior) Marketing Analyst at Freenow you will become a key expert on customer data and retention mechanics. Working within the marketing data team, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing Freenow’s CRM and lifecycle marketing activities across Europe.

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

• You actively support and consult the CRM department with deep-dive analyses, troubleshooting, and actionable recommendations to optimize our end-to-end customer lifecycle strategy.
• You analyse customer data to identify trends, patterns, churn risks and opportunities for enhancing engagement, while also developing advanced customer segmentations to tailor marketing efforts and improve personalization
• You contribute to the implementation of next generation marketing tech, helping to design, test, and deploy AI driven projects and agentic workflows that automate and scale hyper personalized customer journeys.
• You help stakeholders track and understand all relevant marketing metrics, while building dashboards to evaluate the performance of campaigns and complex multi channel automations.
• You keep a constant and proactive eye out for potential improvements in analytics processes, data quality and data sources/tools.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• Very good degree in business studies, computer science, psychology or another subject with a significant mathematical, statistical or scientific focus
• An analytical mindset and the ability to handle database queries yourself (i.e. in SQL, R, Python, etc.)
• You understand how to engage and influence decision makers through data visualisation & storytelling using BI tools like Tableau
• Solid experience working specifically with CRM, Lifecycle Marketing or Customer Insights, supporting targeted campaigns across multiple channels.
• A plus, not a must - Hands on experience with predictive modeling (e.g., churn prediction, LTV forecasting, or propensity modeling) to fuel advanced segmentations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and spoken English
