Project Manager – Strategic Projects & Cross-Functional Initiatives (m/f/d) at L1VE GmbH

Your mission

L1VE is a growing media and technology company with locations in Berlin and New York. With immersive 14K, 3D and 360° streaming technologies and innovative live formats, L1VE is transforming the way people experience sports, music and entertainment.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Project Manager with a strong consulting profile to join our central strategic function and take responsibility for cross-functional strategic and operational topics. In this role, you will bring structure to complex tasks, prepare key decisions and ensure that important projects are implemented with focus and impact across different areas of the organization.

As a Project Manager in our central strategic function, you will work on cross-functional topics that are highly relevant to L1VE’s continued development. You will analyze complex questions, develop decision-making materials and coordinate implementation together with the teams involved.
You will combine strategic thinking with a strong focus on execution. In this role, you will work closely with the executive team, senior leadership and teams across Product, Tech, Content, Marketing, Finance and Operations.

• Manage strategic and cross-functional projects from structuring the initial question through planning, implementation and follow-up
• Analyze complex business, organizational and operational topics and develop clear recommendations and decision-making materials
• Prepare management decisions, presentations, briefings and other materials for the executive team and senior leadership
• Coordinate teams, stakeholders and external partners across different functions and locations
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies and risk assessments
• Identify opportunities for optimization and growth and independently develop and implement appropriate initiatives
• Track decisions, action items and project progress while identifying and resolving blockers at an early stage
• Establish transparent reporting and communication structures for ongoing projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Support specific strategic initiatives, for example in the areas of business model development, organization, partnerships, platform, content or international collaboration

Your profile

• At least five years of professional experience in management consulting, strategic project management, PMO, Corporate Strategy, Business Operations or a comparable role
• Proven experience independently managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Strong ability to quickly understand complex topics, analyze them in a structured way and translate them into clear recommendations and actionable measures
• Experience preparing management decisions and creating compelling presentations, analyses and decision papers
• Confident use of project management methods, planning and documentation tools, combined with a consistent focus on objectives, priorities, timelines and responsibilities
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, as well as a confident manner when working with executives, senior leaders, functional teams and external partners
• A high degree of independence, a strong sense of ownership, analytical and entrepreneurial thinking, and the ability to create clarity and direction in ambiguous situations
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
• Confident and practical use of AI and digital tools; you can demonstrate with specific examples how you have used them to improve quality, speed or decision-making
• A strong interest in sports, media, entertainment, technology and immersive experiences
